This painting is inspired by the anticipation of ski season and those days where it has snowed the night before and you’ve found those runs all to yourself. Painting this was right after buying our season passes and I was just flooded with memories of chasing the kids down the runs and finding our favourite spots over the years. This painting isn’t of a certain exact place, more of a feeling of being on the mountain and I had a lot of fun creating it.

This original is 30” x 48” acrylic on canvas on 1.5” thick canvas with the edges painted, giving it a clean, finished look when hung on the wall. Framing is optional as this painting is wire mounted and ready to hang.
