ROCKY MOUNTAIN SUNRISE. 24" X 30" $450
In June of 2012 we packed up our little hatchback car with our camping gear, two year old and eighty pound dog and drove from Kelowna through the Rocky Mountains on route to visit my sister in Edmonton. We stopped along the way, camped, hiked and explored. It was wonderful to be back in the mountains again with the crisp clean air, tourquois lakes and rivers and stunning glaciers. This painting was inspired after a long morning of chilly rain when the sun finally came out and the mountain peaks were showcased in all their glory.
